“I am delighted to have been asked to join the Stratford Circus Arts Centre as Chair of Trustees. This position brings together my passion for the arts and for Stratford, and I look forward to building on what Nigel has achieved and working with Tania and the trustees during this dynamic period in the development of the arts centre and of Stratford.”

Tania Wilmer, Director of Stratford Circus Arts Centre, said of the announcement: "Georgina’s credentials in the financial sector are extremely impressive and we are thrilled to welcome her to the organisation. As a long-standing local resident she is passionate about the community and has first hand experience of the important civic role Stratford Circus plays. Her experience and insight will help us reach new heights and further develop our cultural and social impact.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Nigel Hinds for his tenure as Chair. During his six years as a Trustee we have seen exceptional growth across our artistic programme and creative learning activity, developing our whole community approach to successfully meet local challenges and enable people to realise their creative potential, while securing the charity’s financial position and doubling our turnover."
