Inspired by the show Getting Dressed, we want you to give us your unwanted children’s clothes to help four amazing local organisations.
Why are you collecting clothes?
We’re collecting clothes to donate to local organisations in Newham who provide clothes to people who would struggle to afford them, using the show to raise awareness and gather donations.
What are you going to do with the clothes?
We’ll be passing donations onto The Renewal Programme, Maryland Children’s Centre Clothes Bank, Oliver Thomas Children’s Centre Clothes Bank and Aston Mansfield - who all, as part of their services, work to help provide clothes to people in Newham who wouldn’t otherwise be able to access them. If we have more clothes than they are able to use we’ll pass them on to Clothes Aid.
What kind of clothes are you after?
Please donate clean and useable unwanted children's clothes. Please don’t leave dirty or soiled items, shoes or other fabrics or cloth items
Where do I donate?
You can donate at 4 different locations in Newham: Stratford Library, Canning Town Library, East Ham Library, and right here at Stratford Circus Arts Centre. We’ll be collecting clothes until Saturday 29 April, you can drop them off beforehand or bring them with you when you see the show.
Dive into a world of colour, texture and movement, be as creative as you can with the clothes you wear, and dare to get dressed just a little bit differently.
