The summer may officially be over but we're still making the most of what's left of it with a day of family fun, dance and craft activities here at Stratford Circus Arts Centre on Saturday 29 September.
We've something for all ages to enjoy including free performances from acclaimed international dance companies Cia Moveo and Cie Dyptik in our car park as well as craft activities to get stuck into.
Why not start the day with a performance of KoKERS at 11am and watch two dancers flip, throw twirl and jump around the cardboard playground they create on stage. Kids aged 3+ will love their playful exploration of the space and materials and the world that appears and disappears before their eyes, plus there's time to play on stage after the performance.
Then head straight outside to our car park for a free performance of Conseqüències at 12pm from the award-winning Cia Moveo. Blurring the line between reality and fiction, this surprising and joyful piece is sure to put a smile on faces!
Or relax in our cafe with a coffee while the little ones enjoy some cardboard crafting in the foyer straight after KoKERS.
There's another chance to catch KoKERS again at 3pm or Conseqüències at 5pm and then round off the day with a free performance of D-Construction by Cie Dyptik. This thrilling, high energy show is performed by dancers on a giant metal structure, to the sound of infectious hip hop beats. Part of our work with outdoor arts project, Circulate, D-Construction and Conseqüències mark the end of this year's series of performances, so make sure you don't miss your last chance to see these spectacles.
