East London Dance hands over programming duties to its future innovators for a weekend-long interactive celebration of dance
The Fi.ELD Festival: InnerEast invites you to explore the body & mind benefits of moving in different ways by experimenting with movement across different forms, spaces and interactive media.
SHIFT is a wellbeing movement workshop led by artist Hannah Rotchell from Casson & Friends. Escape your mind and allow your body to move and explore.
Loosely based on The Dance WE Made, Casson & Friends record-breaking interactive performance, this engaging workshop for all ages gives you the chance to move, connect and have fun - with no dance experience required.
Hannah Rotchell will be joined by musician Alex Paton to create a live and authentic experience, encouraging exploratory movement in the space. This hour-long workshop brings you and your fellow participants together, to explore how group movement can support wellbeing and help build connections.
The 12 - 1pm workshop will be aimed at younger participants and parents/carers*, with the 2 - 3pm workshop being aimed at older children, teens and adults. However, all ages are welcome at both sessions!
Accessible fun for ALL, that celebrates the creativity in everyone. Come along and shift your body, shift your mind.
*Please note parents/carers will need a ticket to take part.
