Overview

Co-presented with Principal Education Partner Newham Sixth Form College (NewVIc)

Duration: 70 mins, no interval

An explosive mash up of hip-hop, theatre and puppetry bringing together four amazing artists: beat-boxer Hobbit, b-boy Ryan LoGisTic Harston, singer/poet Elektric, and puppeteer Mohsen Nouri, to form The Broke ‘N’ Beat Collective by 20 Stories High and Theatre-Rites.

Raw, gritty, funny and moving they explore hard-hitting issues faced by young people in the UK today including relationships, poverty, mental health, and body image, and celebrate the creativity and vibrancy that comes from contemporary youth culture.
