Overview

Voyage into the unknown with this dreamlike spectacle, a bewitching gem of a family show, in which gravity dissolves, bodies bravely contort and optical illusions conjure other worlds.

Out of the darkness strange shapes appear as if from nowhere, illuminated by horizontal strips of white light. From here the fantasy into space begins, contained in a stark frame, as two adventurers overcome fear to boldly navigate creatures of the deep, brotherly rites of initiation and flying contraptions.

Leaving room for the imaginations of children to soar, this international hit features two awesomely dextrous performers, vivid costumes and eerie props. Lausanne-based choreographer Philippe Saire directs the ethereal work, with dance, theatre, mime and stage trickery set to music from Grieg’s Peer Gynt.

Speaks wonderfully to its young audience… magnetically draws the gaze.
