Overview

Our ever-popular jazz sessions get a child friendly twist, where adults and little ones can bop away to live world-class jazz together and take part in interactive musical activities.

The line-up for this session includes singer and musician Faye Patton, whose original songs combine jazz, funk, pop, folk, gospel and blues influences with a contemporary Nu Jazz sound.

South African born trumpeter Claude Deppa will be there with sounds that are influenced by African, world, Afro-Cuban, jazz, improvised, soul, funk and European chamber music.

They'll be joined by drummer Ian Newton Grant, who's influenced by musicians like Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind and Fire, John Coltrane and Dennis Chambers. Ian is also a talented tutor who travels around the UK leading workshops for all ages.
