What does it mean to belong – to a place, a person, yourself?
How do you find home when the ideal is so elusive? Home is sanctuary, conflict, food, people, the place you run to, or from, all or none of the above.
This is a conversation about home and displacement; how one shapes the other. Individual stories collected through interviews by curator Tolu Agbelusi, come alive in poetry, and visual arts extend the conversation in responses to poems that yield collaborations with illustration, animation and dance.
