Overview

Our E15 Jazz Sessions favourites raise the roof with a special evening of top quality jazz and rhythms.

This stellar line-up includes the skilful and popular British funk trombonist Dennis Rollins, the world's leading exponents of Latin-jazz violin Omar Puente, outstanding vocalist and composer Juliet Kelly, and East London's own pianist and educator Diân Gasper.

Dennis Rollins

Well-known on the British and international jazz scene and celebrated for his versatility and unique approach to the trombone, Dennis Rollins has lent his unique and stylish talents to some of the world's top jazz and pop personalities including Courtney Pine, Baba Maal, Jamiroquai, US3, Brand New Heavies, and Blur.

Omar Puente

Omar Puente has worked with some of the greats of Cuban music, including Ruben Gonzalez of Buena Vista Social Club, Cachao Lopez and Guillermo Rubalcaba, and has performed with Latin music legends Tito Puente, Chucho Valdes and Eddie Palmieri.

Juliet Kelly

The vocalist and composer has worked with many world-renowned musicians including Seb Rochford, Tony Kofi and Courtney Pine, and performed in venues around the UK as well as in Ireland, Greece, Russia, Italy, Germany, Israel and Australia.

Diân Gasper

East London's own pianist, composer, and educator Diân Gasper has performed and composed music with international musicians and ensembles, including Myrna Hague, Gary Crosby, Jazz Jamaica, Zara McFarlane, Denys Baptiste and Tomorrow’s Warriors.

Latecomers
We'll always do our best to let latecomers into a performance, but we won’t be able to do this until a suitable break in the performance. Once a show has started late entry is at the discretion of the Duty Manager, and may not always be possible.
