This Networking Event is part of Creative Schools Symposium 2019, Dare to be Different: Leading to Embed Creativity Across the Curriculum.
This is an opportunity for KS1-5 teachers from all subjects and disciplines to visit the Symposium after school to sample creative activity, network with over 35 partners from across east London’s creative sector, and find out about opportunities for their school. Refreshments will be provided.

Commissioned by A New Direction and in partnership with Creative Schools and delivered by A Little Learning, this session offers an opportunity to find out about:
- How to connect Arts Award and Artsmark
- How to develop an Arts Award Hub in your community of schools and the benefits of doing do.

BBC Music - Use Music to Inspire Poetry with BBC Ten Pieces (Space: C2)
This fun cross-curriculum session with Poet Simon Mole uses word games, poetry and freewriting to explore and respond to Vaughan Williams’ The Lark Ascending. We’ll be trying the activities ourselves and participants will leave with a workshop plan to use with their class, and some writing of their own to share as part of that session.
