Cirkus Xanti and Ali Williams Productions

As a Tiger in the Jungle

  • Price:
    £13 - £15
  • Duration:
    60 mins

Three performers from Nepal ask questions about life, love, poverty and greed. Using spoken word, movement, circus and ceremony, they tell the story of how against all odds they survived their childhood and created their own destiny.

Inspired by the lives and destiny of performers Renu Ghalan and Aman Tamang's experiences as child circus slaves in India, this is the story of Nepalese children being trafficked into slavery in Indian traditional circus.

As a Tiger in the Jungle is an inspiring, authentic, raw and heart warming performance about life and circus, entertainment and reflection.

A brave, sad, and beautifully staged production that shines with an inner fire.
